Colts DE Freeney is eager to beat rookie OTs

The Indianapolis Colts star defensive end Dwight Freeney recently told reporters that he was eager to meet every of this year's nine newly drafted offensive tackles and teach them NFL lessons by beating them with his formidable trademark spin move. At age 30, the eight year veteran also mentioned second year quarterback Mark Sanchez and rookie quarterback Tim Tebow as his attaching targets.

"You've got to get beat up for a while to learn what to do and what not to. It's when you're about in your fifth through 10th years as an offensive tackle that you're in your prime. All these rookies coming out? They don't know anything. I can't wait. I couldn't wait to hit Mark Sanchez and I can't wait to hit Tim Tebow even more."

Freeney even claimed that he and his team would send Brett Favre to real retirement by beating the Minnesota Vikings in finals. However, it remains unsure whether Tebow will beat Kyle Orton to be Denver Broncos’ starting quarterback, and Favre is still undecided on whether to wear back his Vikings jersey, so Freeney was seemingly blowing his own horn.
